Dr Mary Jones, MD

Board Certified Pediatrician | Autism & ADHD Specialist | Family Advocate | Board Certified Pediatrician | Early Diagnostic Testing for ASD and ADHD

Dr Mary Jones is a board-certified pediatrician with deep expertise in autism and ADHD diagnosis and support. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience to her work with children and families, blending rigorous medical training with a compassionate, strengths-based approach. At the heart of her practice is a commitment to early, accurate diagnosis and personalized guidance that helps families understand and navigate developmental differences with confidence and clarity.

Dr Jones founded Bright Starts Pediatrics to fill a critical need for thorough, neuro-affirming evaluations for autism and ADHD. Her approach prioritizes the whole child and the family system, not just diagnostic labels. She holds advanced training in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and MIGDAS-2 and is a trained life and leadership coach. This combination of medical expertise and coaching skills allows her to support families both clinically and emotionally through the evaluation and care process.

Dr Jones’ work is shaped by her personal experience as a parent within a neurodiverse family. This lived insight deepens her empathy and fuels her advocacy for health equity and clearer access to services. She focuses on empowering families with education, resources, and practical next steps that extend beyond clinical visits into everyday life.

Dr Mary Jones is joining Nu Serenity Wellness as a collaborator to expand access to thoughtful, evidence-based behavioral health support for children and families throughout the neurodiversity journey.

Brian Phillips, RN

Infusion Nurse | Emergency & Clinical Care Specialist

Brian Phillips is a Registered Nurse with more than 5 years of nursing experience and over 15 years of hands-on medical experience across emergency, infusion, oncology, and outpatient clinical settings. His background spans infusion clinics, hospital systems, urgent care, family medicine, and skilled nursing facilities, giving him a broad and practical clinical perspective.

Brian currently works as an infusion nurse at Medix Infusion in Chandler, Arizona, where he provides comprehensive infusion care in a standalone clinic setting. His work includes pre- and post-treatment assessments, patient education, IV access and port draws, and administration of complex infusion therapies across specialties such as cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, neurology, rheumatology, immunology, and infectious disease. Patient safety, education, and comfort remain central to his approach.

Previously, Brian served in high-volume infusion clinics and oncology settings, providing care for patients with conditions including autoimmune disorders, cancer, immunodeficiencies, and chronic inflammatory diseases. His experience also includes running a COVID monoclonal antibody infusion clinic independently, coordinating care and treatment under strict clinical protocols.

Before becoming a Registered Nurse, Brian worked as a paramedic, EMT, and U.S. Army Combat Medic. These roles sharpened his skills in emergency response, advanced airway management, IV therapy, trauma care, and patient assessment across all age groups. His military and emergency medical background continues to shape his calm, methodical, and patient-focused approach to care.

Brian holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Rasmussen University and maintains an active Arizona Registered Nurse license. He brings a steady presence, deep clinical skill set, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care to his work with Nu Serenity Wellness.

Tamara Scott, RDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist | Nutrition

Tamara Scott is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who partners with Nu Serenity Wellness to deliver practical, supportive, and evidence-based nutrition services. Her work centers on helping individuals build sustainable eating habits through education, structure, and personalized guidance.

Tamara leads the Nutrition Essentials group session series, creating an expert-led environment where participants gain clarity, confidence, and practical tools they can apply in daily life. Her approach emphasizes honest nutrition guidance, realistic goal-setting, and long-term habit development rather than quick fixes.

At Nu Serenity Wellness, Tamara provides holistic nutrition support tailored to each individual’s needs. Her services include nutritional assessments, customized meal planning, and ongoing coaching designed to support energy levels, weight management, and overall health. She focuses on meeting clients where they are and helping them make informed dietary choices that align with their health goals and lifestyle.

Tamara values collaboration and works closely with the Nu Serenity Wellness team to ensure nutrition care complements behavioral health and wellness services. Her goal is to help individuals feel supported, capable, and empowered as they build balanced, sustainable nutrition habits that improve quality of life.
